Job Description

Role & responsibilities:-

Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain end-to-end accounting, reconcile accounts, ensure accurate financial statements, manage ledgers, P&L, and balance sheets.
Taxation & Compliance:
Review GST, TDS, and other tax compliance; coordinate with consultants; ensure timely filings; maintain regulatory adherence.
Team Leadership & Process Management:
Lead a team of finance executives/accountants; define and implement standard operating procedures; ensure adherence to financial policies.
Audits & Controls:
Coordinate yearly statutory audits; perform internal audits; monitor inventory audits; ensure controls on payments, receivables, and inventory.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare periodic management reports, variance analysis, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts; provide actionable insights to leadership.
Inventory & Operations Collaboration:
Support operations/warehouse teams with finance checks; validate stock movements; reconcile inventory discrepancies with accounting records.
Process Improvement:
Identify gaps in finance processes; implement automation or improved workflows to enhance efficiency.
