Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare general ledger postings and statements
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Involvement in process improvement, automations., UAT, feedback
  • Ledger scruitiny & analysis on regular basis.
  • Coordination with Cross Functional Team and issue resolution
  • Fixed Assets Capitalisation, Depreciation, Register maintenance
  • Data analysis, MIS preparation.
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws (TDS & Service tax)

Preferred candidate profile

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office and accounting software (preferably Sun system)
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Well organized
  • Relevant certification is a plus
