Job Description

As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by facilitating the establishment of EHS requirements at the workplace. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying training needs and designing training programs for staff, visitors, sub-contractors, and workmen. - Conducting periodical site EHS inspections, reporting findings, and ensuring corrective actions are taken. - Acting as a catalyst for project EHS committee activities and reviewing and appraising site/factory EHS performance for continuous improvement. - Ensuring proactive performance monitoring through systems such as key performance indicators on EHS. - Preparing and updating project/factory EHS plans and conducting EHS risk assessments and safe work methods. - Timely reporting EHS shortcomings to project managers/heads for continual improvement. - Organizing campaigns, competitions, and special programs to promote EHS at the workplace. - Conducting investigations of all incidents and initiating necessary corrective actions at sites/factories. - Analyzing incident trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
