Assistant Manager (EHS)

You will facilitate in establishing EHS requirements at the workplace and ensure the implementation of the EHS management system and norms as per the IMS and IMS manual. Your responsibilities will include identifying the training needs, designing, and imparting training for staff, visitors, sub-contractors, and workmen. You will conduct periodical site EHS inspections, report the findings for corrective action, and act as a catalyst for the project EHS committee activities. Additionally, you will review and appraise the site/factory's EHS performance and facilitate improvement, ensuring proactive performance monitoring through systems such as key performance indicators on EHS. You will be in charge of preparing and updating project/factory EHS plans, conducting EHS risk assessments, and safe work methods. Timely reporting of EHS shortcomings to the project manager/head for continual improvement will be part of your role. Organizing campaigns, competitions, and other special emphasis programs to promote EHS at the workplace will also fall under your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will conduct investigations of all incidents and initiate necessary corrective actions at sites/factories, as well as analyze incident trends and initiate the required corrective actions.,
