Job Description

Education Required:

Diploma / Graduation in Occupational Health & Safety
Disaster Management
Fire Safety

Roles & Responsibilities:

EHS Procedure Implementation:
Review and implement EHS procedures in alignment with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements to ensure compliance and safety.
Awareness & Training:
Develop and execute plans to spread awareness about EHS practices across the organization. Conduct training and workshops to ensure all employees are educated on EHS protocols.
Shopfloor Audits:
Conduct regular shopfloor audits as per the scheduled plan. Prepare observation reports, track safety-related issues, and ensure timely closure of observations.
Safety Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and regularly update records for all safety equipment, including fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and other essential safety tools and apparatus.
Machine Safety Audits:
Conduct safety audits on both existing and new machinery to ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are met.
EHS Guideline Implementation:
Ensure the successful implementation of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines throughout the organization, contributing to a safer work environment for all employees.
Third-party Audits:
Conduct and support external audits as per third-party audit requirements (e.g., ISO, HCIL, MACE) to ensure organizational EHS standards are maintained.

Skills and Qualifications:

Certified Internal Auditor:
Must be a certified internal auditor with expertise in auditing processes related to EHS standards.
Certified Fire & Safety Officer:
Should hold certification as a Fire & Safety Officer with knowledge of safety protocols in fire risk management.
