Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Vendor & Supplier Management:

  Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, source new vendors, and evaluate their performance.

• Negotiation

  & Sourcing:

  Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to secure cost savings and high-quality products.

• Inventory Control:

  Monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and capital goods.

• Order Processing:

  Prepare purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery to meet internal demands.

• Cost Analysis & Reporting:

  Analyze purchasing trends, prepare cost comparisons, and report on potential savings.

• Data Management:

  Maintain accurate records of suppliers, contracts, invoices, and purchase details.

• Internal Coordination:

  Liaise with other departments (like warehouse, production) to understand needs and resolve issues.

Preferred candidate profile

*Work Experience of min. 12 years in Purchase Department.

* Strong Proficiency in SAP related to Purchase operations

* Good Oral & Written Communication

* Good Team Management Skills

* Strong analytical skills to solve problems quickly and judiciously.
