Assistant Manager - Direct Tax & Audit

As an Assistant Manager in Audit & Direct Tax at Cretum Advisory, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Conducting audits of financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations - Ensuring adherence to direct tax laws and regulations - Performing due diligence for various business transactions - Providing advisory services on tax planning and compliance - Reviewing audit documentation and financial statements in detail - Preparing tax computations, returns, and reports for clients - Assisting in due diligence assignments for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions - Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations - Developing MIS and reporting - Conducting quarterly and monthly reviews of books - Performing internal audits to evaluate control effectiveness, compliance, and risk management - Establishing and nurturing strong client relationships - Collaborating with team members to accomplish project objectives Qualifications required for this role include: - Chartered Accountant qualification - Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in audit - Solid understanding of auditing standards and direct tax laws - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Capability to work independently and meet deadlines - Immediate availability for joining If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to hr@cretumadvisory.com with the subject line "Chartered Accountant Direct Tax and Audit - Gurugram".,
