Job Title: Assistant Manager - Content Writing Work Location: Bangalore Qualification: Masters Degree in Literature, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Experience: 6 to 8 years Department: Inspire Role Overview: As Assistant Manager - Content Writing @ iDare, you play a pivotal role in shaping narratives that empower individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome abuse. This role combines storytelling, psychology-informed messaging, and content marketing expertise to produce powerful, inclusive content. Youll collaborate across teams to ensure our voice remains consistent, trustworthy, and emotionally intelligent. About Us: iDare is a pioneering mobile application dedicated to promoting mental health, wellness, and resilience. Our mission is to empower individuals to recognize, prevent, cope with, and fight against abuse and trauma. We are dedicated to crafting engaging and informative content across various platforms with a focus on empathy and understanding, we strive to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can find healing, learn from their experiences, and cultivate resilience. Research-Driven Content Creation: Conduct ongoing research into user needs, current trends, and topics aligned with iDare s values (e.g., mental health, legal support, community harmony). Use data analytics and insights from app interactions to identify gaps and create content that resonates with users. Developing content for multiple platforms including websites, email marketing, videos, and blogs. Curating high-impact content for B2B businesses, including corporate presentations, executive decks, and tailored materials for workshops, training sessions, and webinars. Conduct periodic content audits to revise outdated information, improve accessibility, and enhance clarity in line with evolving mental health standards and language. 2. Personalized & Relevant Content: Focus on creating content that speaks directly to the audiences needs at any given time. Predict what topics will be most useful based on current trends, user behavior, and seasonality (e.g., mental health awareness month, community-based campaigns). Leverage app usage data to deliver personalized content suggestions for users based on their engagement patterns, preferences, and past behaviour. 3. Core Values Alignment: Ensure that all content created reflects iDare s core values such as empathy, advocacy, integrity, and community building. This should be evident in the tone, messaging, and topics discussed. Highlight stories of individuals overcoming challenges, promoting mental health, and using legal support to advocate for justice aligning with iDare s mission to empower users. 4. Content Strategy & Optimization: Create content with a deep understanding of SEO best practices, UX writing principles, and data-informed content performance metrics. Optimize content for SEO to increase organic search visibility and website traffic. Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across campaigns, platforms, and audience segments. Provide guidance and editorial feedback to junior writers or freelancers, helping elevate the quality and consistency of content across the board. Requirements: 1. Proficiency in English with strong written communication, grammar, and cultural sensitivity; regional languages are a plus. 2. Demonstrated experience with diverse content formats (articles, web content, campaigns) and a strong editorial portfolio. 3. Good understanding of B2B marketing, customer personas, buyer journeys, SEO strategies, and keyword integration. 4. 50% B2B content creation & 50% mental health awareness content for the Inspire page. 5. Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Notion). 6. Excellent teamwork, collaboration skills, and a proactive, structured, and conceptual approach to work. 7. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment. 8. Passion for supporting social justice, equity, mental health advocacy in line with iDare s mission. 9. Strong digital literacy with tools like Google Docs, MS Office, and Outlook, alongside keen editing skills. 10.
