Assistant Manager - Civil

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day planning, leading, controlling, and coordinating of site activities.
• Responsible for Overall installation and commissioning of project with standard quality and safety manner.
• Execution of 132KV, 33KV line unit substation, (USS) and planning of site activities as per target
• HT cable underground laying work
• Foundation (Pit marking, Excavation, stub setting, Bar-bending concerting etc.
• Co-ordinate with surveyor according to survey profiles.
• Arrangement of materials for site activities.
• Stringing of power line crossings of 400/200/132/33 KV, railway crossing and road crossing (N-H & S-H)
• Stringing, insulator hosting, rough sag, final sag, paying out of quad conductor with the help of tensioner
• problems which come under foundation & stringing
• Installation, testing & commissioning of power transformer up to 315 MVA
• Installation, testing & commissioning of power transformer up to 333x3MVA (single phase)
• Installation, testing & commissioning of primary equipment's like CB, ISO. CT, CVT, WT & LA etc. in the switchyard
• Installation, testing & commissioning of ACDB, DCDB Panels, battery charger & battery set and CRP panel
• Provide the technical support to contractors for the cable laying and termination work
• Erection, Testing, commissioning of HT & LT panels and earthing work as per drawing
• Illuminations work in substation building & switchyard
• Prepared of daily progress reports & next day working planning
• Handling charging permission from chief electrical inspector (CEIG) for substation & transmissions line
• Material reconciliation with store/suppliers & sub-contractor.
• Daily/weekly & Monthly progress report generation
• Transformer & HT panel testing Oil filtration
• HT/ LT Cable laying termination Cable testing
