Position Overview

The Assistant Manager CAT Axis supports and drives customer acquisition activities across Axis channels. The role involves managing lead flow, assisting sales teams, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance, and enabling smooth customer onboarding. This position closely coordinates with Axis branch staff, sales managers, and operations to achieve acquisition targets and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition & Target Achievement

  • Support sales teams in achieving monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
  • Manage lead allocation, follow-up tracking, and improvement of conversion ratios.
  • Assist in driving customer acquisition initiatives in Axis branches or partner locations.
  • Work with frontline teams to generate high-quality prospects.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain and analyze daily/weekly MIS reports for Axis channel performance.
  • Track key metrics such as activity levels, pipeline status, conversion rates, and TAT.
  • Identify gaps and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.

3. Branch Coordination (Axis Channel)

  • Coordinate with Axis Bank branch staff, relationship managers, and sales officers.
  • Ensure timely resolution of branch-related queries and support business movement.
  • Conduct regular visits or virtual meetings with branches to drive engagement.

4. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure 100% adherence to KYC, regulatory, and company audit guidelines.
  • Review customer applications for completeness and quality.
  • Liaise with operations for smooth processing and to prevent delays or rejections.

5. Customer Experience Management

  • Ensure seamless onboarding for new customers acquired through Axis channels.
  • Monitor turnaround times and address customer escalations effectively.
  • Maintain high service standards for premium or priority customers (if applicable).

6. Sales Support & Enablement

  • Provide product updates, process training, and acquisition guidance to frontline teams.
  • Assist with branch activations, mini-camps, and sales events.
  • Support new joiners by explaining CAT processes and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience working with Axis Bank or any bank-partner channel is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, MIS reporting tools, and sales dashboards.
