Accounts Executive

The Accounts Executive will assist the Accounts team with various tasks related to the processing and recording of financial transactions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment, learning about financial processes, and gaining exposure to the operations of a busy finance department.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:

Assist in the review and verification of invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure they are coded correctly.

Payment Processing:

Help prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Assist in preparing checks for mailing and distribution.

Record Keeping:

Ensure all financial documentation is accurately filed and maintained.

Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports and other documentation as needed.

Reconciliation:

Assist in the reconciliation of vendor statements and correct any discrepancies.

Support month-end and year-end close processes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
