Assistant Manager-billing

Job Description: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Order to Cash processes within the shared service organization in Gurgaon, India. Your main objective will be to ensure the timely and accurate generation, dispatch, and revenue assurance according to defined processes and guidelines. Your role will involve the following responsibilities and accountabilities: Billing Processing: - Monitor the preparation and dispatch of invoices for all branches from the AR Module - Resolve escalated issues related to differential cases (temporary/additional services, ad-hoc services, Events/Exhibitions, etc.) - Review and ensure the update of all differential case invoices in the AR Module - Participate in investigations to resolve escalated customer issues and correspond with customers if required - Provide approval for the write-off of uncollectible balances as per guidelines Performance Metrics: - 40% time spent - Timely preparation of invoices - Accuracy of invoices Revenue Assurance: - Monitor and review timely receipt reconciliation against invoices - Ensure the update of required documents (TDS certificates, etc.) received from clients as per the process - Periodically review client accounts and highlight disputed cases - Liaison with the legal department in case of defaulter clients and cheque bouncing cases Performance Metrics: - 40% time spent - 100% reconciliation of billing vs. cash received MIS and Reporting: - Periodically review monthly movements in client accounts - Review reports for the order-to-cash process - outstanding report, credit report, etc. - Facilitate the audit process and plan corrective action on any issues highlighted by the audit team Performance Metrics: - 20% time spent - Timely preparation of information/reports This position requires a postgraduate level of education with 5-7 years of experience in the Finance industry. The work mode is on-site in Gurgaon with a day schedule. The salary offered is INR 75000 per month.,
