Assistant Manager - Bakery

As the Assistant Manager - Bakery at Krishnapatnam plant in Andhra Pradesh, India, you will be responsible for overseeing the bakery production operations and managing all related activities to meet market demand effectively. Your key responsibilities will include managing production and maintenance functions, ensuring proper planning and execution in alignment with sales and operation plans, coordinating interdepartmentally to optimize costs and quality, maintaining safety standards, and managing resources efficiently. You will be accountable for the overall edible oil bakery production and maintenance activities at the plant. This includes ensuring intradepartmental coordination, reducing repairs and maintenance costs, maintaining safety indices, optimizing consumption of utilities and ingredients, and reducing variable costs through process optimization. Your role also involves increasing efficiency, multiskilling the team, utilizing skills effectively to achieve production targets, improving processes through Kaizen practices, generating daily reports, and monitoring plant operations to adhere to standard norms. Additionally, you will provide active support for safety, health, and environment (SHE) management systems, ensuring strict implementation of safety rules by yourself and your subordinates. To excel in this role, you should make decisions that align with Bunge's global strategy and drive innovation, cultivate relationships, influence others, and develop talent. You will also need to deliver volumes as per sales and operation plan figures, ensure food safety, reduce costs, and drive automation in packaging. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.Tech in oil technology or chemical engineering, with 8 to 10 years of experience in FMCG industry. You should possess knowledge and technical competencies in edible oil processing, packing, utilities, compliance with relevant laws, and management of resources.
