Assistant Manager-Accounts

As a Collection Accounting Manager at Ample Group, your role involves managing and directing the collection accounting & tender reconciliation for Ample Group entities. You will be responsible for ensuring timely collection accounting and reconciliation with bank receipts. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing routine retail collection accounting team activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Ensuring 100% reconciliation of collection tenders with bank receipts. - Ensuring daily bank reconciliation of Ample Group entities. - Managing routine employee claim settlements. - Managing the team to support the store sales team for customer receipt confirmation and related activities. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be the process owner for designing the Store Collection Accounting process. You will be involved in designing and implementing new processes/modules in the operating platform, as well as automation and process enhancements in the ERP system. Your focus will be on migrating manual processes to systems and enhancing system processes for better service delivery. In this role, you will lead the Retail Revenue Collection team to ensure timely accounting and reconciliation with bank receipts. Qualifications, Experience, & Skills required: - CA Inter with Postgraduate in Accounting. - 3 to 5 years of corporate accounting experience in the Retail Industry. - Experience in team management. Competencies required: - Advanced Excel skills. - Leadership and interpersonal skills of a high order. - Capability to handle a high volume of transactions. As part of your role, you will have working relationships with internal departments such as other departments for supporting store sales team, internal audit for clarifying queries and discussing remedial measures, and IT for system-related requirements.
