Assistant Maintenance Manager

As the AM Maintenance at Nashik Plant, your role is crucial in enhancing the reliability of the platform by taking ownership of critical systems and developing necessary capabilities to achieve desired outcomes. You will be responsible for building technical capabilities within the platform to create multi-skilled technician teams that are self-sufficient. Your focus will be on eliminating losses through a data-driven process that emphasizes Root Cause Elimination. Key responsibilities include: - Modeling engaging leader behaviors to cultivate a high-performing team - Ensuring human and food safety standards are met - Being accountable for the platform's 24-hour results - Supporting and leading the capability development of platform members - Driving out equipment losses by providing coaching and feedback - Actively participating in key platform management systems - Coordinating defect handling by documenting standards, prioritizing and resolving defects - Overseeing breakdown elimination through tracking triggers and implementing countermeasures - Planning and scheduling work, including shutdown planning, in collaboration with technician system owners Moreover, you are expected to develop a deep understanding of all management systems, apply the Reward and Recognition System, and provide technical expertise to drive out losses. Your responsibilities also include plant maintenance, troubleshooting plant mechanical components, budgeting for repairs and maintenance, spare planning, and team capability building. Qualifications required for this position: - BE/BTech in Mechanical - 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Maintenance System/Compliances - Basic knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation - Systematic troubleshooting approach - Ability to implement predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring techniques - Strong decision-making skills - Knowledge of safety and quality systems - Familiarity with Zero Loss Culture or TPM This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
