Assistant Logistics Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities n, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods . Manage inbound & outbound logistics ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization. Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders , and internal departments to streamline delivery schedules. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, accuracy, and movement through ERP/WMS. Ensure efficient space utilization in the warehouse and adherence to FIFO/LIFO practices. Supervise and train logistics staff and third-party labor. Oversee packaging, labeling, documentation , and quality checks for outgoing consignments. Ensure compliance with statutory norms and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards. Maintain KPIs like On-Time Delivery (OTD), Order Accuracy, Inventory Turnover . Coordinate with production and sales teams to align dispatches with business targets. Handle returns, reverse logistics , and customer complaints related to logistics. Preferred candidate profile Team HR 9327956606
