The Procurement Project Engineering team in Chennai is a sub-function of the Procurement Program Management based in Denmark. The department's primary objective is to ensure that all procurement deliverables for projects are fulfilled with high quality and on time
Ensure that the project meets the Time to Market target, while also fulfilling safety, quality, and cost parameters.
Support to prepare procurement related deliverables preparation towards gate review meetings
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System processes and client Way to Market (Stage Gate model).
Proactively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
Serve as the "go-to" person for solving problems and driving actions related to the Procurement function.
Drive the development of best practices within the functional area.
Generate project performance reports and conduct peer review meetings
Bachelors in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) with 7 - 9 years of experience in Global procurement, new product development functions
Project management certification and or 6 sigma knowledge is an added advantage.
