As the Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations at Dave & Buster's India, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all F&B operations. Your leadership will contribute to delivering high-quality service, managing budgets, developing staff, and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your extensive experience in F&B management, ideally within the hospitality or entertainment industry, will be key to your success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operational Leadership:** Oversee the daily operations of the F&B department, ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen, bar, and service teams. - **Guest Experience:** Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service, address guest feedback promptly, and resolve any service-related issues to enhance guest satisfaction. - **Quality Control:** Maintain high standards for food quality, beverage presentation, and cleanliness of F&B areas while adhering to health and safety regulations. - **Staff Management:** Lead, coach, and mentor the F&B team, oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to create a positive work environment. - **Cost Control & Budgeting:** Manage financial performance by monitoring labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. - **Menu Management:** Collaborate with culinary teams to optimize menus, align offerings with customer preferences and market trends, and meet profitability targets. - **Supplier & Inventory Management:** Oversee purchasing and inventory control to ensure stock availability, reduce waste, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective procurement. - **Event & Special Operations:** Support in planning and executing special events and promotions to boost sales and customer engagement. - **Compliance & Safety:** Ensure compliance with local regulations, including food safety, hygiene standards, and legal requirements. - **Collaboration with Senior Management:** Work closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to align F&B operations with overall business objectives. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). - Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in F&B management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of managing F&B operations in high-volume environments, preferably in entertainment or hospitality. - Strong leadership, team management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of food safety standards, cost control techniques, and current industry trends. - Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and managing P&L statements.
