Assistant General Manager

Role & responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets
  
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
  
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Real Estate Project Finance

• Monitor project-wise cost accounting, revenue recognition, and profitability
  
• Track construction costs, land costs, and project budgets
  
• Ensure proper accounting of advances, deposits, customer collections, and escrow accounts.

Budgeting & MIS

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  
• Develop and present project-wise and company-wide MIS reports
  
• Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to management
  

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
  
• Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaison with tax authorities
  
• Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory reports

Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors
  
• Strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate governance norms

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage cash flow planning and working capital requirements
  
• Monitor collections, vendor payments, and fund utilization
  
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for loans and credit facilities
  

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor finance and accounts team
  
• Coordinate with legal, sales, CRM, procurement, and project teams
  
• Support management with financial inputs for strategic decisions

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and taxation
  
• Expertise in ERP systems (Tally / Real Estate ERPs)
  
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  
• High attention to detail and compliance orientation.
