Assistant Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in compliance with internal policies.

• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management, including aging analysis and collections follow-up.

• Support in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.

• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and queries.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Part-qualified accountant ACA/ACCA or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite).
