Assistant Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer at Arbour, you will be responsible for researching current fashion trends and creating original clothing designs that resonate with our customers. Your role will involve developing mood boards, collaborating with the production team, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all designs. Additionally, you will stay updated with industry trends, present design ideas to stakeholders, and provide creative direction for photoshoots and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, along with proven experience in the clothing industry. You should possess strong knowledge of garment construction, proficiency in design software, and excellent sketching and illustration skills. Moreover, your ability to work on multiple collections simultaneously, meet deadlines, and showcase a strong portfolio of previous design work will be essential. Preferred skills for this role include experience in sustainable fashion design, knowledge of textile printing and embroidery techniques, and an understanding of fashion marketing and consumer preferences.
