Assistant Electrician

Location- Near Singanallur- Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

• Battery Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on batteries, including water filling, cleaning, and checking the charge levels.
• Inspect and maintain battery banks in UPS and inverter systems, ensuring proper operation and safety.
• Minor Level UPS & Inverter Service:
• Assist in the basic servicing of UPS systems, inverters, and associated components.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Field Work & Installation Support:
• Travel to customer sites for regular maintenance and service work on batteries, UPS systems, and inverters.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Follow safety procedures while working with electrical systems, including batteries, UPS, and inverters.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Customer Service:
• Assist in explaining basic service procedures and safety precautions to clients.
• Provide professional and courteous service during on-site visits.
• Tool Management:
• Ensure that tools and equipment used for maintenance and servicing are maintained and in proper working condition.
• Keep work areas organized and safe, reporting any faulty or damaged tools.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of the work done, including service reports, time logs, and any parts replaced.
• Assist in documenting service issues or recurring problems for follow-up action.

Requirements:

• Gender: Male candidates only.
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years old.
• Location: Local candidates preferred (Coimbatore).
• Transportation: Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel to job sites.
• Availability: Immediate joiners only.
• Experience:
• Freshers with a background in Electrical/Electronics (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) are welcome to apply.
• Experienced candidates with hands-on experience in battery maintenance, UPS, or inverter service are preferred.
• Education:
• Fresher: ITI, Diploma, or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Experienced: Prior experience in electrical maintenance, especially with batteries, UPS, and inverters, is a plus.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, especially battery maintenance, UPS, and inverter servicing.
• Willingness to learn and assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to work safely with electrical systems and follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and travel to job sites.
