Assistant Electrician

As an Electrical Technician, your role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. You will be required to read technical diagrams and blueprints, perform general electrical maintenance for machines and infrastructure, and inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and maintaining records of work performed and materials used will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems - Read technical diagrams and blueprints - Perform general electrical maintenance for machines and infrastructure - Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components - Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices - Maintain records of work performed and materials used - Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies - Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime - Assist in energy-saving and electrical improvement projects Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role - Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school training - Valid electrician license - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring - Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints - Excellent troubleshooting skills - Attention to detail and safety - Good communication and teamwork abilities Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
