Job Description

As an integral part of the property's food and beverage/culinary operation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering, ensuring the successful implementation of departmental strategies to align with the brand service strategy and initiatives. Your primary focus will be to meet the brand's target customer needs, boost employee satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and optimize the financial performance of the department. Your dedication will be vital in delivering exceptional products and services that exceed the expectations of both the brands target customers and property employees while ensuring a significant return on investment. To qualify for this role, you should possess a high school diploma or GED along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in relevant fields such as Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, combined with at least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity will be considered. Your core responsibilities will include developing and executing food and beverage strategies and goals in collaboration with your team, implementing promotions, menu enhancements, and wine pairings. You will be expected to lead your food and beverage team effectively by fostering open communication, reviewing business opportunities, addressing staffing needs, and ensuring the team's adherence to service standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maximizing food and beverage revenue by reviewing financial reports, implementing cash and liquor control measures, and encouraging innovative approaches to drive revenue growth. Creating an exceptional customer service experience will be at the forefront of your duties, where you will focus on exceeding guest expectations, analyzing feedback data, and continuously improving service performance. Moreover, you will be involved in managing human resource activities by ensuring fair administration of property policies, conducting performance appraisals, executing emergency procedures, and hiring talented individuals to meet the operational requirements.
