Assistant Director - Data Risk Management

Role Overview: You will have the opportunity to join the GDS Data Risk Management team at EY as an Assistant Director. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the local implementation of cross-functional initiatives to mitigate data risk and operationalize data governance across GDS. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to identify and evaluate data risks, monitor controls, coordinate agile risk evaluations, enhance data incident prevention, support information security initiatives, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the cross-functional implementation of data and security program initiatives within GDS - Develop local strategies to identify and evaluate data risks, monitor controls, and operationalize models for effective data risk mitigation - Coordinate risk evaluations to enable safe and effective use of data within AI and technology innovations - Support GDS Records and Information Management initiatives for retention and disposition compliance - Champion training, awareness, and communication initiatives to resonate with GDS requirements - Coordinate and shape local data risk appetite, strategy, and delivery to ensure continuous improvement - Evaluate and enhance the level of data risk maturity, including resource requirements and skills development - Maintain collaborative relationships with allied functions including GCO, Information Security, Technology, and Risk Qualifications Required: - University graduate/post-graduate with a good academic background - Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with implementing a privacy program management platform - Exposure to client interaction preferred - Recognized Data Risk Management/data privacy qualification preferred (e.g., CIPM, CIPP/E or similar) or willingness to obtain the qualification within the first six months with the team Company Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network operating in seven locations across Argentina, Hungary, India, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, and Spain.
