Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Cook/Chef in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes, especially fried, steamed, and wok-based items. Support in the preparation of momos, sauces, and side dishes as per café standards. Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices in the kitchen. Help in cutting, chopping, marinating, and organizing ingredients for daily operations. Monitor stock levels of raw materials and inform the manager for replenishment. Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of dishes. Follow kitchen SOPs and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations. Requirements: Previous experience (6 months – 2 years) in Chinese/Asian cooking preferred. Basic knowledge of wok cooking, steaming, frying, and sauce preparation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. Strong focus on hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards. Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn.
