Operate secondary cameras or manage camera movement equipment (gimbals, Steadicams, etc.). Collaborate with the lighting and grip departments to achieve desired visual effects. Maintain and organize camera gear, lenses, and accessories. Support in testing and calibrating cameras and lenses before shoots. Troubleshoot technical issues with camera and monitoring equipment during production. Coordinate with the production and post-production teams regarding footage handling and transfer. Ensure all shots are correctly logged and properly backed up. Help manage on-set crew related to the camera department, including trainees. Uphold safety standards and best practices on set. Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Cinematographer or Camera Assistant on professional sets. Strong knowledge of various camera systems Familiarity with lenses, filters, and lighting techniques. Understanding of shot composition, frame rates, exposure, and focus pulling. Technical proficiency with camera rigs, gimbals and monitoring equipment. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced production environments. Flexibility to travel to different shooting locations.
