Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead and execute detailed engineering for cooling water systems including both open and closed loop configurations.
Design and engineer cooling towers and associated piping systems.
Develop chemical dosing systems and water treatment systems such as RO, DM, UF, etc.
shall be responsible for wastewater treatment systems including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and sewage treatment systems.
Create and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment layouts, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
Perform hydraulic calculations, pump and pipe sizing.
Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
Interface with vendors to resolve technical clarifications and conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE).
Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry codes such as ASME, API, IS codes, CPCB, and environmental regulations.
Participate in HAZOP studies, model reviews, and design audits.
Support construction and commissioning activities and engage with clients as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 12 to 18 years of experience in detailed engineering for cooling water systems.

Experience in designing cooling towers and associated piping systems and developing chemical dosing systems and water treatment systems
