Job Code: DAS/DEL/0126 Position Title: Manager Location: Gurgaon Department: Due Diligence Reporting Manager: Partner Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence Qualification: CA As a Manager in the Due Diligence department, your core responsibilities will include: - Developing a comprehensive understanding of the target business including its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges - Taking a lead role in client service execution as an Engagement Manager - Leading the team throughout project execution, reviewing reports, and providing valuable inputs - Interpreting, evaluating, and analyzing information memoranda, business plans, and other publicly available data related to the target business - Producing high-quality deliverables, including Excel and PowerPoint documents, within agreed timelines and briefing the Partner/Director/Senior Manager accordingly - Reviewing and analyzing historical trading, cash flow, balance sheets, projections, and underlying assumptions - Evaluating operating trends, quality of earnings, maintainability of EBITDA, working capital, cash flows, net debt, etc. - Identifying key issues impacting valuation/price consideration and providing advice on addressing these issues - Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships - Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures and addressing risk issues proactively with Partner support - Contributing significantly to knowledge sharing efforts, reviewing and enhancing processes for knowledge capture and leverage - Building and managing an efficient team while serving as a role model, mentor, and coach - Engaging in business development activities, preparing proposals, and estimating costs Competencies required for this role include: - Analytical capabilities - Creative and innovative thinking - Strong technical knowledge - Leadership qualities - Persistence and persuasiveness - Strong interpersonal relationship skills and respect Join us at BDO India to play a vital role in conducting Due Diligence procedures and providing strategic insights to our clients.,
