Job Description

You will be joining our SMSF team as an Assistant Accountant, where you will be responsible for providing accounting and taxation services to clients in Australia. This is an onsite role based in our Surat office. The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of Australian accounting standards. - Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs in compliance with Australian taxation and superannuation laws - Supporting the administration and maintenance of SMSF client records, including reconciliation and data entry - Preparing and reviewing trust deeds, investment schedules, and compliance documents - Assisting with SMSF audits and ensuring timely completion in coordination with auditors - Monitoring SMSF compliance with regulatory requirements under the SIS Act In terms of qualifications, you should: - Hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field - Have previous experience or a demonstrated interest in SMSF accounting and compliance - Be familiar with SMSF legislation, taxation, and compliance requirements - Possess proficiency in accounting software such as BGL, Class, Xero, MYOB, or equivalent - Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills You will also be expected to: - Stay updated on SMSF legislation, taxation rules, and industry developments - Assist in client communication regarding SMSF accounting and compliance queries - Utilize SMSF accounting software for accurate reporting and record-keeping - Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently - Commit to ongoing professional development and SMSF training - Work onsite in our Surat office In return for your contributions, we offer benefits such as food provision, health insurance, personal accidental insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.,
