Assistant Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting records including journals, ledgers, and vouchers. Your role will also involve assisting in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and reports. Additionally, you will be reconciling bank statements, vendor accounts, and internal ledgers. Supporting GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, assisting in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, and providing support during internal and external audits will be part of your key responsibilities. Collaboration with other departments for financial reporting and record keeping is also expected. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain daily accounting records such as journals, ledgers, and vouchers - Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and reports - Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and internal ledgers - Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance - Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis - Provide support during internal and external audits - Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting and record keeping Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce - Prior experience in accounting or finance is preferred - Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, or accounting software Please note that the job type is full-time and the work location is in person.
