Job Description: Assistant Account Manager (Indian Accounting)

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Account Manager (female candidate only) with strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and practices. The candidate will support the accounts team in daily operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers.
• Support in GST, TDS, and Income Tax calculations and return filing.
• Handle daily accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments.
• Maintain payroll records, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss account, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and vendors for accounting and compliance matters.
• Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Female candidate only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Indian accounting.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is mandatory.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail with good communication and coordination abilities.
