Assistant Account Manager

As a Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Accounts in the renewable energy sector, your role will be crucial in leading the accounts function with precision and expertise. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. - Overseeing the preparation and finalization of financial statements, MIS, and consolidated reports. - Managing direct and indirect taxation, including compliance, assessments, and strategic tax planning. - Driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in alignment with organizational goals. - Ensuring statutory compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws. - Coordinating audits with internal stakeholders and facilitating smooth statutory and internal audits. - Providing management with insights on cost control, working capital optimization, and profitability. - Implementing efficient systems, controls, and processes to enhance accuracy in accounting operations. - Contributing financial expertise to renewable energy projects for proper accounting treatment and reporting. Qualifications required for this role: - CA / CMA with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably from a Big 4 or reputed Accounting Firm background. - Strong experience in handling accounts of large-scale companies with turnover exceeding 1000 Cr. - Exposure to infrastructure and renewable energy sectors is highly desirable. - Profound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation (direct & indirect), and corporate laws. - Proven track record in leading and mentoring accounts teams. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
