Assay Master

Job Description

An Assay Master is responsible for accurately determining the purity of gold using the fire assay method as outlined in IS 1418. This includes supervising sampling, performing cupellation, maintaining lab equipment, ensuring quality control, and preparing certified assay reports. The Assay Master also oversees technical staff, ensures compliance with BIS regulations, and maintains meticulous records for audit and traceability. The role is critical in hallmarking and precious metal quality assurance.
