We are looking for a highly motivated

Software Engineer

with

5 to 6 years of hands-on experience

AS400/COBOL, CLLE, CLP, and DB2/400

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications within the

Property Casualty Insurance

domain. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects that drive operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions using
AS400 (iSeries)
technologies including
COBOL, CLLE, CLP
, and
DB2/400
.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and program specifications.
Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures promptly.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in
AS400/COBOL
,
CLLE
, and
CLP
programming.
Strong knowledge of
DB2/400
for data manipulation and query optimization.
Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Domain Skills:

Experience in the
Property Casualty Insurance
domain including policy, claims, and billing systems.
