Artificial Intelligence Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership: Design and define the end-to-end architecture for complex AI/ML solutions, including data pipelines, model training infrastructure, deployment strategies, and integration points with existing systems.

Technology & Tooling Selection: Evaluate, recommend, and select appropriate AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), platforms (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform), tools, and technologies to meet specific project requirements and architectural standards.

MLOps & Deployment Strategy: Establish best practices for MLOps (Machine Learning Operations), including versioning, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for models, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.

Data Strategy for AI: Collaborate closely with data engineers and data scientists to define data acquisition, storage, processing, and governance strategies essential for high-quality AI model development.

Performance & Scalability: Optimize AI solution architectures for high performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency in production environments.

Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI solutions are designed with robust security measures, adhering to industry best practices and relevant data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI guidelines.

Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software development teams throughout the AI solution lifecycle.

Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements, trends, and breakthroughs in AI/ML, evaluating their applicability and potential for integration into our product roadmap.

Quality Assurance: Define and ensure adherence to architectural quality standards, including reusability, maintainability, and extensibility of AI components.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with specific AI domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), or Time Series Analysis.

Familiarity with ethical AI principles, responsible AI development, and data privacy regulations.

Contributions to open-source AI projects or relevant publications.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate).
