Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Assistant located in Kolkata. The Articled Assistant will be responsible for assisting in audits, taxation, and compliance-related assignments. Daily responsibilities include conducting statutory and internal audits, preparing and filing taxation documents, assisting with corporate law compliance, and supporting valuation projects. The role offers hands-on opportunities to collaborate with experienced professionals and gain practical exposure to industry practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in audit-related tasks, such as statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance audits.
• Strong skills in direct taxation, including ITR filing, TDS returns, and tax planning.
• Understanding of indirect taxation, including GST registration, return filing, and GST planning.
• Knowledge of corporate law procedures, including company incorporation, mergers, and compliance filings.
• Analytical skills for valuation assignments such as mergers, acquisitions, and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and client interaction.
• Pursuing or completed CA articleship with familiarity in accounting standards and financial regulations.
