Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article Assistant, based in Pune. The Article Assistant will assist with audit and assurance functions, prepare and review financial statements, and support tax filing and compliance processes. They will also be responsible for conducting research on regulatory changes, performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in diverse service areas, providing valuable exposure to the professional workings of the firm.

Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements
Proficiency in tax filing, statutory compliance, and audit functions
Strong analytical and research skills to interpret regulatory updates and financial data
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools
Enthusiastic to learn and adapt to new professional challenges
Enrolled in CA Articleship program or pursuing CA qualification
