Art Director

To lead, build, and manage a world-class in-house design studio that delivers creative excellence across digital, branding, product design, marketing, and user experience. The Art Director will translate business and product strategies into compelling visual stories, guide the creative vision across departments, and foster a high-performing creative team aligned with the companys mission and tech innovation goals.

Role & responsibilities

1. Creative Direction & Leadership

• Establish and maintain the visual identity of the brand across all mediums (digital, print, UI/UX, marketing).
• Guide and mentor a growing team of designers, illustrators, and motion artists.
• Drive concept development and visual storytelling for campaigns, products, and key launches.

2. Design House Development

• Set up the in-house design studio (processes, tools, workflows, design systems).
• Define and implement brand and design standards, style guides, and creative operations.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact visual assets.
• Translate briefs into innovative visual ideas with consistency and speed.
• Present and articulate design decisions confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.

4. Project & Team Management

• Oversee end-to-end creative processes from ideation to final delivery.
• Prioritize workloads, assign tasks, and ensure on-time, high-quality output.
• Source and manage freelancers, vendors, or agencies when needed.

5. Innovation & Quality Assurance

• Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously elevate creative output.
• Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and brand alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent conceptual thinking and visual storytelling ability.
• Mastery of design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, layout, and user-centered design.
• Experience in tech or SaaS environments is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills.
• Clear and confident communicator, both visually and verbally.
• Bonus: motion graphics, 3D, or video editing experience.
