Job Description

A Sales Officer is a professional responsible for overseeing and executing sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals. They work with sales teams, develop and implement sales plans, and build relationships with customers to drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Team Management: Overseeing the activities of sales representatives and providing guidance and support.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and drive sales.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Ensuring the sales team achieves or surpasses individual and team sales targets.
  • Sales Reporting: Preparing and presenting sales reports to management, analyzing sales data, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential customers, understand market trends, and assess competitor offerings.
  • Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Sales Promotion: Collaborating with the marketing department to develop and implement promotional activities to drive sales.
  • Customer Interaction: Addressing customer queries, handling complaints, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Sales Skills: Strong sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve sales-related issues and challenges.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve desired results.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with customers and establish strong relationships.
  • Educational Background: Typically a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Generally requires several years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,999.69 - ₹31,027.49 per month
