As a Team Lead Sales at the climate tech firm in Mumbai, your role will involve managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve regional sales goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing a team of BDMs focused on field sales. - Coaching and training team members to enhance customer engagement, conversion, and retention. - Tracking team KPIs and sales performance, implementing action plans for improvement. - Conducting regular field visits to ensure high-quality customer interactions and relationship building. - Strategically segmenting the market and assigning territories for optimal coverage. - Collaborating with senior management to align sales efforts with business goals. - Analyzing customer feedback and market trends to refine pitches and enhance the value proposition. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proven leadership and coaching skills to inspire and upskill the sales team. - Strong strategic B2B sales planning, execution, and optimization abilities. - Expertise in customer engagement and upselling to small and medium enterprises. - Proficiency in monitoring KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and driving improvements. - Fluent in English and Hindi; proficiency in Marathi is a plus. - An analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualifications and experience required: - Graduate-level degree; MBA preferred. - 9+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role. - Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting dashboards. - Results-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative personality.
