Company - Namaste India Foods Pvt. Ltd. Job Title : Area Sales Manager (Dry Division) Department : Sales Location : Purnia, Bhagalpur or Muzaffarpur. Reports to : DGM. Job Purpose To drive sales growth, manage distributor/retail networks, and ensure the effective implementation of marketing strategies for dairy products within a specific geographic area. The Area Sales Manager plays a key role in achieving revenue targets, improving market share, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Sales Management Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area. Forecast demand and plan inventory levels in coordination with supply chain teams. Drive sales of dairy products such as milk, curd, butter, cheese, flavored milk, etc. Market Development Expand the distribution network and onboard new dealers/distributors. Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Caf), and institutional channels. Monitor competitor activities and suggest counter-strategies. Team Management Lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers. Train and coach team members on product knowledge and sales techniques. Conduct regular field visits to support the sales team and resolve issues. Customer Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, retailers, and stakeholders. Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Marketing Execution Implement promotional campaigns and in-store branding activities. Ensure visibility of products at retail points. Collect feedback on marketing initiatives and customer preferences. Reporting and Analytics Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Analyze area performance metrics and recommend corrective actions. Provide market intelligence and insights to senior management. Qualifications & Experience Education : Bachelors/Masters degree in any stream. Experience : 8-12 Years experience in FMCG or Dairy industry. Knowledge : Understanding of dairy product categories, cold chain logistics, and rural/urban distribution models.
