About the Role

Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the B2B solar panel market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, EPC contractors, and corporate clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solar solutions.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and MIS to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of solar PV modules, EPC solutions, and the renewable energy market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Target-driven with strong business acumen.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience

    in B2B sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
