Position: Area Sales Manager Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu Industry: Solar PV Module Manufacturing / Renewable Energy Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive B2B sales of solar panels in the assigned South India region. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets by promoting our solar PV modules to distributors, EPC companies, system integrators, and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the B2B solar panel market. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, EPC contractors, and corporate clients. Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solar solutions. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients. Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and MIS to management. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of solar PV modules, EPC solutions, and the renewable energy market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Target-driven with strong business acumen. Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
