Area Sales Manager - AM/DM - Offline Merchants - QR

As an Area Sales Manager at our company, you will be responsible for driving the growth of distribution and market share in your assigned area. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product - Identifying and recruiting a sales team to align and drive business in the market - Planning the market size, span, and geographies for ASMs - Devising the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs. delivery gap - Monitoring the quality parameters as suggested by the Management - Validating and conducting audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team To succeed in this role, you must possess good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout your specified area. You should also be skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application newly learned ideas and concepts. Additionally, the following superpowers/skills will further help you succeed in this role: - Being a self-starter who can take ownership and is comfortable navigating ambiguity - Having 8-12 years of experience in sales - business development, particularly in B2C markets - Being passionate about working in fast-growing firms and handling large teams - Ability to articulate complex solutions to novice customers - Possessing good sales and negotiation skills, with experience in quota-driven sales being a must Education-wise, graduation is mandatory while an MBA is preferred.
