Role Objective

Radiology products

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve

    sales targets and revenue objectives

    for the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in

    hospitals, diagnostic centers, and government institutions

    .
  • Conduct

    market mapping

    to identify potential customers and competitors.
  • Manage the

    entire sales cycle

    from lead generation to deal closure and payment collection.
  • Participate in

    tenders, rate contracts, and institutional sales processes

    .
  • Coordinate product demonstrations with

    Application Specialists

    to convert leads.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain

    strong relationships with key decision-makers

    radiologists, hospital administrators, biomedical engineers, and purchase managers.
  • Ensure

    high customer satisfaction

    through prompt follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with

    service and application teams

    for smooth installations and training.
  • Conduct

    customer engagement programs

    , CME events, and user meetings.

Channel & Territory Management

  • Appoint, train, and manage

    channel partners or distributors

    , if applicable.
  • Monitor and support channel sales performance through joint visits and regular reviews.
  • Plan and execute

    territory sales strategies

    to maximize market coverage.
  • Maintain accurate records of

    pipeline, forecast, and competitor activities

    .

Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide

    weekly and monthly sales forecasts

    and activity reports.
  • Update CRM tools or sales dashboards with customer interactions and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with

    marketing

    for promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with

    finance and logistics

    for order processing and payment tracking.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual

    sales targets

  • Territory growth

    in terms of revenue and new account acquisition
  • Customer satisfaction

    and retention metrics
  • Demo-to-sale conversion ratio

  • Timely reporting and adherence to company processes

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Biomedical Engineering, Science, or Business Management

    (MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • 4–8 years

    of experience in

    Radiology equipment sales

    preferably (Ultrasound, X-ray, Mammography, CT, MRI, etc.).
  • Proven track record in hospital or diagnostic center sales.
  • Experience with

    government tenders and institutional accounts

    preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong

    communication, negotiation, and presentation

    skills.
  • Good understanding of

    radiology workflows and imaging technologies

    .
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
  • Proficient in

    MS Office, CRM tools

    , and report management.
  • Willingness to

    travel extensively

    across the assigned region.
