Area Engineer - Inspection

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing inspection activities and providing technology support for asset monitoring to ensure asset integrity and optimal performance of refinery & petrochemical units. Your role will involve adhering to design standards and statutory regulations related to process equipment and piping systems to ensure operational safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and improve systems for mechanical integrity assurance through risk-based inspection methodology, utilizing tools such as Meridium - Monitor the health condition of static equipment, recommend timely actions for asset integrity, and implement corrosion management programs - Prepare annual plans and budgets for inspection functions, estimate resource requirements, and monitor expenses against approved budgets - Implement measurement, review, and decision-making processes for departmental systems, policies, and procedures to achieve targeted outcomes efficiently - Provide timely inputs for MIS reporting and technical evaluation of vendors/inspection agencies - Offer continuous inspection support for process equipment and systems, ensuring availability and achieving throughput targets - Be accountable for implementing and improving EMS systems, procedures, and policies, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environment systems - Lead the effective implementation of HSEF procedures, apply safety tenets to all inspection activities, and conduct periodic safety audits - Raise awareness about Energy Management Systems and comply with Energy policy, objectives, and EnMS requirements Qualification Required: - B.E in Mechanical/Metallurgy - ASNT Level-II certification in RT, UT, MPT, DPT & VT - Preferably certifications in API-570, API-510, API-653, AWS Welding Inspector,
