Role Overview: As an Area Collection Manager for 2 Wheeler Loan and Pre-owned car, your main responsibility will be to manage a team and coordinate operational recovery activities for the credit portfolio in your assigned territory. You will need to ensure that front delinquencies are minimized by adhering to corporate policies and procedures while working closely with the legal team to manage delinquencies effectively. Your role will involve end-to-end collection responsibilities for the allocated area, contributing to the larger organizational goals of the bank. It is crucial to plan, organize, direct, and oversee the activities of the Recoveries department and manage associated agencies efficiently to optimize EMI retrieval from customers. Key Responsibilities: - Handle collections of specific products in the assigned area - Ensure collection efficiency and cost optimization for the area - Track and control delinquencies by bucket and DPD wise, focusing on non-starters - Review account allocations and collection targets, monitoring performance against set parameters - Follow up with default customers through a dedicated team - Ensure collection agencies and executives comply with legal guidelines - Manage productivity by setting parameters for In-house/Agencies/collection executives - Ensure adequate availability of resources in different areas/buckets/segments - Conduct background checks of agencies/appointed personnel and evaluate them constantly - Collaborate with the legal team for necessary legal actions - Build relationships with key clients for timely collections - Develop suitable tactics or strategies for prompt collections Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any discipline - Post Graduate in any field Additional Company Details (if present): The role of Area Collection Manager is critical as it directly impacts the financial institution's budget planning.
