Area Credit Manager-Mid Corporate-Credit Appraisal-Chandigarh - Sector 8C-M4-M6

The role involves underwriting corporate finance business and managing the portfolio in the assigned area. You will be required to support and collaborate with business teams to handle end-to-end credit approval processes for the designated region. Your responsibilities will include underwriting cases, presenting them to senior management, and authorizing deviations in compliance with credit policy. You will be expected to conduct a final review of credit memos prepared by underwriters, provide approval or decline sign-offs after verifying documentation requests, and approve all disbursement requests based on adherence to agreement value requirements and complete documentation at the branch level. Monitoring and ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases will also be part of your duties. You will need to coordinate with external vendors such as FI, Legal, and Technical valuations to resolve queries and eliminate any delays. Leading a team of credit approvers to maintain portfolio quality and manage delinquencies will be essential. Additionally, you will be involved in developing, implementing, reviewing, and monitoring credit programs, providing training to enhance team competency, and improving processing efficiency. Your role will also require ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and loan sanctioning. Customizing underwriting norms to meet local market needs, enhancing consumer credit risk strategy, and overseeing the continuous improvement of credit operations will be critical aspects of the position. The ideal candidate for this role should possess an MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent qualification.,
