Architectural & Wayfinding Signage Designer (5 Yrs Exp.)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative *Architectural & Wayfinding Signage Designer (5 Yrs Exp.)* to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing signage solutions that enhance user experiences and effectively communicate brand messages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

*Key Responsibilities:*- Collaborate with clients to understand their signage needs and objectives.

- Create innovative sign designs that are visually appealing and adhere to branding guidelines.

- Develop a range of signage, including but not limited to, wayfinding signs, informational signs, promotional displays, and digital signage.

- Prepare detailed designs and specifications for production, including materials, dimensions, and installation considerations.

- Stay current with design trends, materials, and technologies related to signage and visual communication.

- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Conduct site visits as necessary to assess environments and provide design recommendations.

- Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback into final designs.

- Prepare schematic designs and mapping.

- Possess knowledge of materials, including material finishes for both internal and external applications.

*Qualifications:*

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a signage designer or in a related design role.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

- Strong portfolio showcasing previous signage work and design projects.

- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

- Experience with 3D/2D design software (e.g., Illustrator, SketchUp, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Creative Design Signage Knowledge).

- Familiarity with production methods and materials used in sign manufacturing.
